Whether I’m going to hot yoga, or heading to GoodLife Fitness, I like to keep my gym routine after my workout really simple, and my gym bag light. I try not to bring too many products with me and tend to leave my make up at home.
Here is a little peek into my bag for some of my gym must haves.
1) The Body Shop Tea Tree Body Wash
Years ago, when I went to my first yoga class, they offered tea tree body wash in the showers. I’ve been hooked ever since!
2) Dove Anti-Perspirant
This anti-perspirant is my favourite. I like that it comes in a bunch of different scents so I can switch it up every once in a while. Right now I’m loving the peach ‘Burst’ scent.
3) OGX Tea Tree Shampoo
There’s something so refreshing about smelling the mix of mint after a workout that makes me feel even more energized after my workouts.
4) Batiste Dry Shampoo
I’m a newbie when it comes to dry shampoo. I saw this bottle on sale the other day and decided to give it a try. For those days when I don’t have time to shower after the gym, a quick spray of this in my hair instantly removes any shine. It also has a nice clean scent to it.
5) Nivea Lip Balm
This is my go-to lip protector. It makes my lips soft and hydrated without leaving them feeling greasy or sticky. The balm absorbs quickly and also gives my lips a nice moisturized shine.
6) Hair Ties
I sometimes keep my hair down while working out, but hair ties are a must for those days when I need to pull it up and out of my face. I prefer a hair tie that has a lot of stretch and no metal band to keep it from getting tangled in my hair.
